Who is JBRF?

Honoring the legacy of Jane Bancroft Robinson, JBRF is a foundation dedicated to dismantling systemic racism and reducing the health and economic disparities that disproportionately affect Black women living East of the Anacostia River. Our foundation is centered on community members’ voices and shifts power and resources to them so they can design solutions that improve racial equity, health, and employment outcomes for Black women living East of the River. We aim to be a true partner with the community by engaging in an inclusive approach to philanthropy.
